So you’ve heard about being an Au Pair, but don’t quite know what to make of it. Have no fear, here we outline 10 reasons why you should consider taking the plunge and being an Au Pair abroad!

Chances are that when you Au Pair abroad, you’ll be going it solo.

Heading to an unfamiliar place on your own forces you to step outside of your comfort zone and interact with others in order to make new friends and successfully intern and live outside of your home country.

In addition to your regular days off during the week, the family will often invite you to come along for various family vacations.

These are basically expenses paid trips around the country that you are in, and are great ways to travel for essentially free!
