Au Pair: My Time At The Beijing Zoo| 1 min read

Like most countries in the world, Beijing too has a place where one can escape for the DOs and DON’Ts of adult life. The easiest place to tuck yourself into your inner child and explore the lives of animals from all over the world without leaving the borders.

Boasting rare animals from not just all over China, but all over the world. The Beijing zoo exhibits animals such as the Golden Monkey, the Giant Panda, Lions from Africa, Kangaroos from Australia, even Polar Bears from Antarctica. This lively zoo covers 50 000 square meters and is home to over 600 species of animals.

Although, the zoo not only births beautiful animal life but is home to rare plants, aquatic animals, and bird life. All exhibits are built to accompany the life form it nurtures from desert terrains to polar ice caps and rainforest landscapes the Beijing zoo is like taking a trip through different countries in less than a day’s walk.
